A little baby girl is left by her parents in a parking lot in Addis Abeba and we don’t know why. The young girl grows up with the dream of reuniting with her parents who left her because they couldn’t support her.
When the girl turns 18 she seeks to find her family: She travels there to reunite with them.
It turns out they are not poor. Her mother is a doctor and her father is an architect on paternal leave and they have a talented and beautiful daughter. Slowly she comes to realise that this is in fact not her family. They are just looking for a nannie. Abeba gets the job and the longing for for the family is now turning to disappointment, anger and revenge.
